Miles for Missions 5k and 1 Mile Fun Run

Event Overview
- Purpose: Miles for Missions is an annual 1 Mile Fun Run and 5k with all proceeds going to support youth and their summer Mission Trip!
- Location: We are moving back to town to the church for the start and finish at First Baptist Church, 404 Church St. Columbia LA 71418.
- Partnership: We have been able to partner with Spartan Fitness for the start and finish of our race.
- Family Day: Following the race, we will have food and lots of fun for the entire family.
Race Details
- Start Times: 1 Mile Fun Run will begin at 8:00 sharp, and the 5k will begin at 8:30 AM.
- Medals: Everyone receives a finisher medal. There is an overall prize for 1st place in Men's and Women's categories.
- Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place medals will be awarded for each age category, starting with 18 and under, 19-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79 and 80 and older.
- Shirts: We do print extra shirts and purchase extra medals for race day, but sizes are not guaranteed.
Special Offer
- Free Participation: Students still in elementary through high school are free!
- Sponsorships: Sponsorships are limited, so they are first come first served.
