AR Alpha Pi Beta Phi 5K 2026

Event Overview

Pi Beta Phi is excited to host our 21st Annual 5K on September 26, 2026, at 8:00 am.

Mission

• Commitment: At Arkansas Alpha, we remain committed to empowering the children in our community.
• Impact: We make a lasting impact on their literacy through our service.
• Philanthropic Initiatives: Pi Beta Phi emphasizes intentional service.
• Focus Area: We work to impact our children through elementary schools, organizations, and businesses in the Northwest Arkansas area.

Community Involvement

• Daily Service: We are proud to have chapter members serving in elementary schools daily.
• Programs: Our programs include Champions Are Readers, Lunch Buddies, Pen Pals, Library Buddies, Pre-K Buddies, and volunteer initiatives.
• Schools: We step into Vandergriff, Leverett, Asbell, and Butterfield Elementary Schools in the FISD system.
• Partnerships: We partner with Potters House Pre-school program: Wet Cement.

Event Purpose

• Advocacy: The Pi Phi 5K is significant in advocating for and raising awareness of Pi Beta Phi's various philanthropic initiatives.
• Literacy Focus: Children's literacy is our national philanthropic focus.
• Proceeds: All proceeds from the Pi Beta Phi 5K will be contributed to the Pi Beta Phi Literacy Fund.
• Goal: Help us further advance childhood literacy, securing a brighter educational future for generations to come!

• Scenic Routes: Enjoy the beauty of Fayetteville along the trails.
• Support: Our members will be posted throughout to cheer you on every step of the way.
