🎉 About the Event

• Years of Tradition: For over thirty years, the Bridgeport Hospital Milford Campus has hosted a Mother’s Day Run and Walk to promote wellness and health.
• All Abilities Welcome: All abilities are invited to join us as we celebrate this special day!
• Beneficiary: Proceeds from this year’s Mother’s Day 5K Run/Walk will support a new family waiting room for the Same Day Joint Replacement Surgery Center at Bridgeport Hospital's Milford Campus.
• Event Info: We encourage all levels of participants for all of our events. Join us for a great start to Mother's Day.

🏃‍♀️ Race Details

• 5K & 3K Info: Our 5K chip timed Run (or walk) and 3k Fitness Walk (untimed) both begin and end at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.
• Timing Requirement: You must RUN or WALK the entire 5K if you want to be computer timed and eligible for awards.
• Kids Fun Run: Our FREE, 1/10 mi Kids Fun Run is prior to the start of the 5K. All kids 5th grade (10 years) and under can enter this non-competitive fun run.
• SWAG: All 5K and 3K participants will receive a specially designed shirt and plenty of food & fluids. Shirt size and availability can only be guaranteed to pre-registered attendees by April 26.

• Safety Notice: We ask all 3K participants to be SAFE and use all sidewalks wherever available.
• Scenic Route: The 5K and 3K courses are very flat and have scenic views as you travel past Long Island Sound.

💰 Race Fees

• Adult (19 and over): $35 (2/14-2/28), $40 (3/1 - 5/3), $45 (5/4 - 5/10)
• Youth (18 and under): $20 for all registration periods
• Kids Fun Run: FREE for 10yr old and under only (Pre-registration required)
• Important: Save your bib for 10% off at Woodbridge Running Company through May 31.

📅 Event Schedule

• 2/14: Registration opens
• 4/26: Guaranteed shirt size ends
• 5/3: Lower fee ends, increases 5/4-5/10
• 5/8 & 5/9: Early Bib & shirt pickup at Milford Hospital

🏆 Awards

• Awards Offered: Variety of gift cards & medals for Male and Female 5K champions.
• Age Groups: 9 and under, 10-13, 14-18, 19-29, and ten year age groups through 80+
• Special Awards: Mother/son, Mother/daughter teams and awards for top age groups.
• Reminder: There are no awards for the untimed 3K walk. Only 5K timed participants are eligible for awards.
