Participation Details

• Limit: This year we are limiting our participant number to 650.
• Registration: Please consider registering early as we were close to sold out last year.
• Safety: Limited space available to ensure safety: registration will not reopen once closed.
• Events: 5K run/walk, 3K (walkers only), and kids fun run.

Events Schedule

• 5K Run: Chip timed and should be completed for eligibility for awards.
• 3K Walk: Untimed: welcomes all participants.
• Kids Fun Run: Free, non-competitive run for kids 10 years and under.
• Start Times: All events begin/finish at the Milford Campus of Bridgeport Hospital.

Race/Walk Fees

• Registration Dates:
• 2/14-2/28: Adult $35, Youth $20
• 3/1 - 5/3: Adult $40, Youth $20
• 5/4 - 5/10: Adult $45, Youth $20

SWAG (Stuff We All Get)

• Shirts: All 5K and 3K participants receive a race t-shirt.
• Size Guarantee: Shirt size/availability guaranteed if pre-registered by April 26.
• Purchase: Limited sizing available after April 26.
• KidsRun: Free for kids 10 years and under: preregistration requested.

• 5K Map: View 5K Map
• 3K Map: View 3K Map
• Course Notes: 3K and 5K have same start: safety on sidewalks for 3K.
• Flat and Scenic: Well-marked courses with mile splits.

Early Bib & Shirt Pickup

• Pickup: Friday, 5/8 from 3 PM - 6 PM: Saturday, 5/9 from 9 AM - Noon.
• Hassle Free: Pickup for others allowed: save Sunday stress!

Event Schedule for Sunday - 5/10

• 7:45-9:00 AM: Bib and Shirt Pickup, with online late registration if not sold out.
• 8:45 AM: Kids Fun Run - Two laps in the registration lot.
• 9:00 AM: Start 5K Run and 3K Walk.
• 10:00 AM: Awards presented to timed 5K participants.

Awards

• Categories: Male and Female champions plus age groups (9 and under, 10-13, etc.).
• Medals: All age groups 18 and under receive medals for places 1st, 2nd, 3rd.
• Special Prizes: For mother/son and mother/daughter teams.
• Gift Certificates: For first, second, and third in age groups (19-80+).
