Frozen Hare

Welcome to the Frozen Hare Swim and TriFest

The second race of our Frozen Hare Series!

Event Details

• Location: Lawrence Park Swim Club, 293 Langford Rd., Broomall, PA 19008.
• Pool: Outdoor heated 25 meter pool, generally at 80F or warmer.

Event Choices

• SwimFest: 5K, 1K pool swims.
• Run: Open 3 Mile run.
• TriFest: Various multisport options including:
  • Runner's Aquathlon: 1K swim, 3 Mile run.
  • Swimmer's Aquathlon: 5K swim, 3 Mile run.
  • Kid's Sprint Aquathlon: 300m swim, 1 Mile run.
  • Adult Sprint Aquathlon: 300m swim, 1 Mile run.
  • Sprint Tri: 750m swim, 11.8mi bike, 3 Mile run.
  • Olympic Tri: 1500m swim, 22.8 mi bike, 6 Mile run.
  • Swimmer's Tri: 5K swim, 22.8mi bike, 6 Mile run.
  • Sprint Du: 11.8mi bike, 3 Mile run.
  • Olympic Du: 22.8mi bike, 6 Mile run.

Race Schedule

• Start Time: First swim heat at 8:30AM, heats until 3:00PM (3:30 last finish).
• Arrival: Arrive at least 30-45 minutes prior to assigned start time.
• Completion: All legs must be completed by 3:30PM.
• Lane Sharing: Swimmers may be required to share a lane.

Important Notes

• Self-Supported: Bike and run legs are 100% self-supported: follow rules of the road.
• No Course Markings: Cyclists should bring GPS directions.
• Order: Swim, bike, and run may be done in any order.
• Awards: Custom awards for top 3 overall and age groups: available after results.

Registration

• Pre-Registration: Strongly advised: arrive 30-45 minutes prior to wave time.
• Swim Caps: Optional for swim leg.
• Adjusted Swim Times: May be adjusted 15-30 minutes for maximum participation.
• Sharing Lanes: Swimmers may share lanes with others.

Refunds/Deferrals

• No Refunds: Bib transfers to non-registered people are not permitted.
• Deferrals: Allowed with a request at least 14 days prior to the event.
• Transfer: To another French Creek Racing event possible for a nominal fee.

• Parking: Plenty of parking available on-site.

We will have a small amount of food and drinks available, but we do recommend bringing anything you need for yourself. Anything you need, please bring it from home!
