WCPS Zombie Run (5K Run/1 Mile Walk)

Event Overview

Presented by the WCPS Employee Wellness Committee.

• Date: 2026-10-10
• Location: 6737 Blue Ribbon Pkwy, Salisbury, MD
• Registration: FREE for EVERYONE!
• Participants: All WCPS employees, their families, and friends.

Event Activities

• Prizes: Door prizes and giveaways.
• Treatments: Chair massages and NEW this year: Reflexology.
• Fun: Activities for families including corn hole, putt putt, and fitness Jenga.
• Awards: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place for Male and Female overall and in age groups.

Incentives

WellAware participants can earn 500 points for participating!

Sequence of Events

• 4 - 5pm: Check-in (online registrants) / Registration (walk-ins).
• 4 - 7pm: Activities (chair massage, reflexology, etc.).
• 5:15pm: Pre-run/walk announcements & warm-up.
• 5:30pm: Run begins (walkers follow).

• 6:15pm: 1st round of door prize drawings.
• 6:30pm: 5K Awards ceremony & more prize drawings.
• 6:45pm: Last call for prize winners.
• 7:00pm: Event ends.

Please follow the orange numbers in sequence on the site map below. After you've deposited your raffle ticket, you are welcome to go to any other area to participate in those activities, before and/or after your run/walk.

Miscellaneous Notes

• Walkers: Stay out of the way of runners, especially at the finish line.
• Snacks: A limited number will be available.
• Weather Policy: Event is rain or shine: cancellation only if unsafe or lightning occurs.
