About this race
Event Overview
The Vintage Fest Fun Run kicks off the Daytime Festival in Sonoma Valley. Participants will run or walk through scenic vineyards, tree-lined roads, and downtown Sonoma, enjoying the beauty of the harvest season. The race finishes at the Historic Sonoma Plaza, where the festivities continue with the Daytime Festival, a cherished community event open to all.
Who Can Participate
- All Ages: Runners of all ages and skill levels are welcome.
- Family-Friendly: Families and groups can participate, including those with strollers.
- Fun Morning: Join in on this fun and active morning.
- Registration Info: Prices increase on August 1st, September 1st, and day of event.
Costume Contest
Show off your harvest spirit and make race day even more memorable! Whether you're running the 5K Fun Run or the new 1-Mile Vintage Vines, we invite you to come dressed in your most creative, festive, and wine country-inspired costume.
- Costume Guidelines: Costumes should be fun, family-friendly, and comfortable enough to run or walk in.
- Award Categories: Prizes will be awarded for the Best Individual Costume and Best Group Costume.
- Judging Time: Judging will take place before the start of the races at 7:45 am.
- Arrival: Be sure to arrive early and check in at the Registration table.

About the Vintage Festival
The Valley of the Moon Vintage Festival celebrates the grape bounty, community spirit, and rich history of Sonoma Valley and its annual grape harvest. Presented by the Sonoma Valley Vintners & Growers Alliance and Foundation (Sonoma Valley Wine), Vintage Festival event proceeds fund the SVVGA Foundation to support charities, grants, and scholarships throughout the Sonoma Valley.
