Event Description

• Excitement: Who says you can't have your chocolate—and run it too? The 2027 Run for Chocolate is coming, and it’s sweeter than ever!
• Challenge: Rally your friends, set your pace for our 5K/10K/13.1 Half-Marathon, and let the craving guide you to the finish line.
• Community: Forget the massive, impersonal race-day crowds. We keep things small, personal, and local.
• Inclusivity: All paces and ages welcome (under 18 with a guardian) - run it, walk it, however you like!

Race Overview

• Spots: Spots sell out FAST! We close each wave the moment it fills.
• Private Group: This is a smaller, private group run with a capped field per wave.
• Relaxed Atmosphere: There’s no gear, no setup, no fuss - just you, the course, and our coordinators cheering you on.
• Support: When you sign up, you’re getting real support toward your fitness goals.

Timing

• Optional Timing: Track your own time via Strava, RunKeeper, Nike Run, or similar, then submit it.
• No Pressure: No timing chips - this is about progress, not pressure.
• Coordinator Help: Just ask a coordinator to help time you.
• Relaxed Environment: Our coordinators stay on-site for 3 hours after the first wave.

What You Get (Swag Bag)

• T-Shirt: Running T-shirt (shipped to your address - US only)
• Medal: Finisher's medal
• Training Run: Virtual Training Run (emailed to you a month before your run)
• Online Results: Online results & certificate of completion

Packet Pickup

• Skip It: Your swag ships straight to your door.
• Registration Check: Double-check your mailing address when you register.
• Race Day: Race bibs are simply handed out on race day.
• Shipping: Your shirt will arrive the week of your race.

Last Minute Sign Ups

• Flexibility: No problem if you sign up last minute - wear whatever you like!
• Shipping Note: Your shirt could arrive after race day.
• Arrival of Info: Final participant info will be sent by the Wednesday before race day.
• Course Maps: Course maps will also be included in this communication.

• Wave A: 7:30 AM
• Wave B: 8:00 AM
• Wave C: 8:30 AM
• Arrivals: Jump in when you arrive - no stress!
