Museum of Aviation Marathon, Half Marathon & 5K and Hand Cycle Race

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

• Event: The 31st Annual Museum of Aviation Foundation Marathon, Half-Marathon, 5K Run/Walk, and Para Athletes Race will be held at the Museum of Aviation on Saturday, March 13, 2027.
• Location: The races will be ran on Robins Air Force Base next to the Museum of Aviation and are part of the 2027 Run & See Georgia Grand Prix Series.
• Certification: The marathon course is USA Track and Field certified (Boston Marathon qualifier). The half marathon is also USA Track and Field certified.
• Benefit: Proceeds from the growing annual event benefit the Museum of Aviation, one of the largest aviation museums in the country.

🏆 Awards and Recognition

• Top Finishers: Awards are given to the overall top three male and female finishers in each race.
• Masters Category: Overall top three male and female masters in each race will also be recognized.
• Military Recognition: The top active duty military male and female only in the marathon receive awards.
• Age Categories: The top three finishers in age categories will be awarded.
• Finisher's Medal: Only Marathon and Half Marathon runners will receive a finisher’s medal.

📝 Registration Information

• Registration Deadline: Registration for in-person events will end on Thursday, February 25 at 11:59 PM. There will be no walk-up registration.
• Shirt Guarantee: Participants who register by December 31st are guaranteed a shirt on race day. Runners registered after December 31st are not guaranteed a shirt.
• Packet Pickup: Race packets will be available for pickup on Friday, March 12, 2027, from 2-4:30 PM and on Saturday, March 13 starting at 7 AM.
• Responsibility: Registered runners are solely responsible for their packet pickup and race start time.

🌍 Virtual Race Options

• Availability: Virtual race options will be offered for those unable to attend the in-person event.
• Packet and Shirt: Virtual participants will receive a T-shirt and race packet if registered by December 31, 2026.
• Pickup Information: Virtual packets can be picked up on Friday, between 2:00 and 4:00 PM at the Museum Century of Flight Hangar.
• Mailing Option: If you wish to have your race packets mailed to you, there will be a postage fee required at the time you register for the race.

🔒 Important Security Information

• ID Requirement: Because the races are run on Robins Air Force Base, all runners are REQUIRED to show a valid ID when picking up race packets.
• Background Check: “By providing information required for sign up, you acknowledge and agree to the use of your information for a Criminal Background Check to verify your identity...”

⏰ Race Day Timeline

• 7:50 AM: MARATHON HAND CYCLES and PARA ATHLETES
• 8:00 AM: MARATHON (6 HOUR CUTOFF)
• 8:15 AM: HALF MARATHON
• 8:30 AM: 5K
