2027 Pole Vault in Paradise 5k

Event Overview

• Event Type: The Pole Vault in Paradise 5K is a fun run with no chip timing.
• Theme: Designed to be scenic, welcoming and celebratory.
• Support: All proceeds directly support local youth athletics.
• Goal: Help grow future track and field athletes in our community.

Course Details

• Starting Point: The run will start at Higgs Beach.
• Route: The course will head down the path toward Smathers Beach.
• Scenic Views: Participants will enjoy iconic ocean views.
• Finish Line: The race will conclude on the White Street Pier.

Packet Pickup

• Friday: 3:00–5:00 PM at Higgs Beach.
• Saturday: 6:45–7:45 AM at Higgs Beach.
• Shirts: Participants who registered by December 15 will receive an event shirt at packet pickup.

Parking Information (Important)

• Parking Availability: Limited direct parking at Higgs Beach.
• Event Setup: Partial blockage due to event setup and operations near Salute.
• Recommended: Parking in public parking lots.
• Alternative: Parking at the park across the street is suggested.

After the Run

• Activities: Watch local and elite athletes compete in Pole Vault in Paradise.
• Silent Auction: Bid on items in our silent auction.
• Support: Show your support for the incredible athletes who make this event special.
• Community Growth: Your participation helps grow track and field opportunities for young athletes in the Lower Keys.
