Event Overview
Join us for the 26th Annual Ed McGuire Memorial Cannonball Run on November 7, 2026, at 108 Main Street, Falls Village, CT.
Race Details
- Distance: 5K (3.1 Miles)
- Co-Sponsors: Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department and Shelly's Hair Salon
- Certification: Course is in the process of being USATF certified
- Cannon Start: The traditional firing of the cannon will start the race
Participation
- Walkers: Individuals with disabilities and walkers are most welcome
- Course Length: 2.5 Mile Course for walkers
- Start Time: Walkers start at 11:30am
- Facilities: Restrooms and parking are available in the downtown area
Awards Ceremony
Upon completion of the race, an awards ceremony will be held on the town green for all age groups.
Registration Fees
- Entry Fee: $25
- Pre-registration: If pre-registered by October 10th, your registration includes a souvenir shirt
- Beneficiary: All proceeds benefit the Falls Village Volunteer Fire Department
