🏃‍♂️ NEMS Alcorn State Alumni Race for Scholars 5K

The Northeast MS Alcorn State 5K Run for Scholars' mission is to raise funds to provide scholarships for students from Northeast MS to attend Alcorn State University. Your support will ensure these students will have the additional funds needed to attend college.

🎓 Support First Generation Students

• Important Role: Many of these students are first generation students entering college.
• Community Support: They will need as much support from you as possible.
• Collective Effort: Let’s Make It Happen!

🏥 Health and Wellness Fair

In addition, there will be a Health and Wellness Fair held in conjunction with the 5K Run at Fair Park. We intend to have the following:

• Blood Drive: Donate blood to support those in need.
• Screenings: Diabetes, Blood Pressure and Cholesterol screenings available.
• COVID Services: COVID Screening and Vaccinations will be offered.

💻 Virtual Race Option

The virtual race option is for those who are not able to participate in person. We are pleased to offer RACEJOY to monitor our virtual race. Separate results will be provided for virtual runners.

• Important Note: Due to the nature of virtual results being reliant on dependable cell service and honesty, there will be no awards for virtual participants.
