NEMS Alcorn State Alumni Race for Scholars 5K

🎓 Race Mission

The Northeast MS Alcorn State 5K Run for Scholars' mission is to raise funds to provide scholarships for students from Northeast MS to attend Alcorn State University. Your support will ensure these students will have the additional funds needed to attend college.

• Impact: Funds raised will directly assist students.
• Support: Many of these students are first generation college attendees.
• Encouragement: Your participation makes a difference.

🩺 Health and Wellness Fair

In addition, there will be a Health and Wellness Fair held in conjunction with the 5K Run at Fair Park. We intend to have the following:

• Blood Drive: Donate to save lives.
• Screenings: Diabetes, Blood Pressure and Cholesterol Screening.
• COVID Services: COVID Screening and Vaccinations.

🏃‍♂️ Virtual Race Option

The virtual race option is for those who are not able to participate in person. We are pleased to offer RACEJOY to monitor our virtual race.

• Results: Separate results will be provided for virtual runners.
• Awareness: There will be no awards for virtual participants.
• Reliability: Virtual results are based on cell service and honesty.
