About this race
The Annual Veterans Day Race in Destin is Back!
Join us Saturday, November 7 at 8:00 AM for a fun, family-friendly race celebrating and supporting our local Veterans!
Whether you run, walk, bring the kids, or bring your four-legged friend, this is a great way to start your morning and show your appreciation for those who have served our country.
Race Day Highlights
- Fun course: Fun, flat course
- Finisher awards: Unique finisher awards
- Race T-shirts: Awesome race T-shirts — the first 120 registered are guaranteed a shirt
- Welcome: Strollers and leashed dogs welcome
- Raffle: 50/50 raffle and awesome raffle prizes
Post-Race Celebration
Stick around after the race for a great after-party at the American Legion, featuring:
- Food: Food from local vendors
- Beer: Beer provided by the American Legion for participants 21+
- Fun: Raffles and community fun
And the best part? Your $30 registration helps raise money for local Veterans. Registration is $40 on race day.
This is more than just a race. It’s a Destin community event that brings people together to honor and support our Veterans.

- Early Packet Pickup: WHEN: FRIDAY NOVEMBER 6, 4PM-6PM
- Location: WHERE: THE AMERICAN LEGION - 311 MAIN STREET, DESTIN
- Race Day Check-in: Packet pick-up: 6:30AM - 7:45AM at The American Legion
- Awards: Awards will be given.
Recreational walkers are encouraged to participate, just don’t run! If you intend on walking and running, then register as an open runner.
