About this race
Course
- Route: The course will run through part of downtown Ruston and the Greenway.
- Facilities: The course will be well-marked and have water stations.
- Goodies: Swag bags & giveaways courtesy of our sponsors.
- Check-in: Check-in will be in the parking lot of The Depot. Parking for the event will be in the First Baptist Church parking lot across the street.
Costume Encouragement
- Event Theme: Since this race is on Halloween, we encourage everyone to dress up for the race!
- Award: An award will be given to the best dressed.
- T-shirt Guarantee: Every registration includes a t-shirt!
- Registration Deadline: T-shirts can only be guaranteed to those who register before Tuesday, October 20.
Race Day Schedule
- 7:00 AM: Packet pickup and race day registration opens.
- 7:45 AM: Packet pickup and race day registration closes.
- 8:00 AM: 1 Mile Fun Run begins with 5K Run/Walk to immediately follow.
- Post-Race: Hang out after the race to grab a coffee and listen to live music!
Awards
- Overall Awards: Awards will be given to the overall male and female for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place.
- 5K Age Awards: Awards will be given for the 5K to the top 3 in the following age brackets:
- Age Brackets:
- 9 & under
- 10-14
- 15-19
- 20-29
- 30-39
- 40-49
- 50-59
- 60-69
- 70+
