Course Details

• Distance: 3.1 miles over residential streets.
• Terrain: Relatively flat.
• Support: Splits at every mile, first aid and water on the course.
• Start & Finish: Begins and ends at Moundview Park.

Divisions

• Runners: Male and female divisions for age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
• Walkers: Male and female divisions for age groups: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
• Start: Walkers will have a separate start. Note: If you sign up as a walker, you must start with the walkers and you must walk the entire distance (No running allowed).

Competitions

• Corporate Team Competition: A separate award will be given for corporate teams: top 3 finishers will score based on total team time.
• Entry Fee: A corporate team sponsorship of $200 will cover up to seven runners including T-shirts.

• School Team Competition: Represent your school: top 5 finishers will score based on total team time. Contact for details.

Awards

• Special Awards: Given to overall male and female runner and walker, and first Newtown male and female runner and walker.
• Age Group Awards: Top male and female finishers in all run and walk divisions.
• Additional Awards: Given for corporate team competition, school team competition, and top Newtown residents.
• Awards Ceremony: Awards will be presented after the race.

Free Kids Fun Run

• Event: Fun Run follows the 5K: no advanced signup necessary.
• Ages: Kids 5 and under will race in a field: elementary kids will race approximately 1000m around the park.
• Volunteers: Volunteers will be lining the course to direct runners.

Timing & Results

• Results: Posted online at www.Runningtime.net following the race.
• Chip Timing: Race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags: you must attach the tag to your shoe to receive a time.
• Tag Collection: Tags are re-useable and will be collected at the finish line: please agree to return it for re-use.

Registration Costs

• Pre-Registration: $25 for individuals through Sunday, August 2, 2026.
• Corporate Team: Sponsorship of $200 for up to 7 runners including t-shirts.
• Late Registration: Available online from August 3 through race day for $30.

• Online Registration: Available now through race day: no on-site registration.
• Mail Registration: No mail-in registration for 2026.

Check-in & Packet Pickup

• Early Check-in: At Moundview Park on Friday, August 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Race-Day Check-in: From 7:00 am - 8:15 am at Moundview Park.

Directions & Parking

• Directions: From Route 50 or Route 32 to South on Church/Newtown Road, park at St. John Fisher on the right.
• Road Closure: Road leading to the park will be closed at 8:15 a.m. Plan accordingly.
• Parking: Available in the field at the park: may also park at St. John Fisher Church.
