🏁 Course Details

Distance: 3.1 miles over residential streets
Terrain: Relatively flat with splits at every mile
Support: First aid and water on the course
Start/Finish: Begins and ends at Moundview Park

🏆 Divisions

Male and female runners divisions for the following age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over

Male and female walkers divisions for the following age groups: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.

Note: Walkers will have a separate start. If you sign up as a walker, you must start with the walkers and you must walk the entire distance (No running allowed).

🤝 Corporate Team Competition

A separate award will be given for corporate team competition. Top 3 finishers will score. Based on Total Team time. A corporate team sponsorship of $200 will cover a maximum of seven runners including T-Shirts. If you plan on entering the Corporate Team Competition please contact Marshall Remmele at MarshallRemmele@foresthills.edu in advance for additional instructions.

🏫 School Team Competition

Returning for 2025 - Represent your school. Top 5 finishers will score. If you plan on entering the School Team Competition please contact Marshall Remmele at MarshallRemmele@foresthills.edu in advance for additional instructions.

🥇 Awards

Special awards to overall male and female runner and walker, and first Newtown male and female runner and walker. Age group awards to the top male and female finishers in all run and walk divisions.

Awards will also be given for the Corporate team competition and the School Team Competition and top Newtown Residents.

👦 Free Kids Fun Run

Fun Run - Update to the following: Free kids fun runs after the 5k. No advanced signup necessary. Kids 5 and under will race across the field, elementary kids will race approximately 1000m around the park. Volunteers will be lining the course to direct runners.

Race Results: Results will be posted online at www.Runningtime.net following the race.

⏱️ Chip Timing

This year's race will be chip timed with Ipico shoe tags (chips). All Times will be read electronically. You do not have to have a tag to participate but you must have a tag to receive a time. To receive a time, you must attach shoe tag to your shoe. Click here to see photo of properly attached shoe tag. No tag, no time! Shoe tags will be distributed on race-day only. Tags are re-usable and will be collected at the finish line. If you are given a tag, you must agree to return it for re-use.

💰 Registration Costs

Pre-Registration: $25 for individuals through Sunday, August 3, 2025.
Corporate Team Sponsorship: $200 for a maximum of 7 runners including t-shirts.
Late/Race Day Registration: $30 from August 4th through race day on Saturday, August 9th.
Note: ALL REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025 WILL BE DONE ONLINE - INCLUDING RACE DAY.

Race t-shirts are available for $10 while supplies last.

Online pre-registration available now through Race Day. There is no on-site in-person registration either at packet pick up or on race day. NOTE: ALL REGISTRATIONS FOR 2025 WILL BE DONE ONLINE - INCLUDING RACE DAY.

🗺️ Directions

Moundview Park, 45244: Route 50 or Route 32 to South on Church/Newtown Road, park at St. John Fisher on the right. Beechmont/Route 125 to North on Five Mile to Left on Clough to Right on Newtown Road, park at Moundview park on right.

🚗 Parking

You can park in the field at the park. Road leading to the park will be closed at 8:15 a.m. Plan accordingly. For 2025: You may also park at St. John Fisher Church.
