Community Support

• Food Drive: Please bring a canned-good or non-perishable item to help stock the food pantry at IPM (Inter-Parish Ministries).
• Organizer: Organized by Turpin Cross Country.
• Course: 3.1 miles over residential streets. Relatively flat with splits at every mile.
• First Aid: Available on the course along with water stations.

Divisions

• Runners: Male and female divisions for age groups: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70 and over.
• Walkers: Male and female divisions for age groups: 29 and under, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 and over.
• Separate Start: Walkers will have a separate start. No running allowed.

Team Competitions

• Corporate Team: Separate award for top 3 finishers based on total team time.
• Sponsorship: A corporate team sponsorship of $200 covers 7 runners, including T-shirts.
• School Team: Top 5 finishers score based on total team time. Contact for more details.
• Additional Awards: Awards for Corporate and School Team competitions, as well as top Newtown Residents.

Awards

• Overall Awards: Special awards for overall male and female runner and walker.
• Age Group Awards: Top male and female finishers in all divisions.
• Awards Ceremony: Will take place after the race.
• Kids Fun Run: Free fun runs for kids will be held after the 5K.

Registration Information

• Pre-Registration Cost: $25 through August 2, 2026. Corporate team sponsorship $200.
• Late Registration Cost: $30 available from August 3rd to race day.
• Online Only: All registrations for 2026 will be done online.
• T-Shirts: Available for $10 while supplies last.

Check-in and Packet Pickup

• Early Check-in: At Moundview Park, August 7, 2026, from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM.
• Race Day Check-in: From 7:00 am to 8:15 am at Moundview Park.
• Online Registration: Available now through race day, no paper registration.
• Directions: Moundview Park, Route 50 or Route 32 to South on Church/Newtown Road.

Parking

• Available Parking: Field at the park. Consider arriving early as the road will close at 8:15 am.
• Alternative Parking: You may also park at St. John Fisher Church.

Additional Information

• Donations: Collecting canned goods for Inter Parish Ministries in Newtown again this year.
• No Refunds: All registrations are final with no refunds.
• Chip Timing: Chip timed with Ipico shoe tags. Time accuracy requires tag attachment to shoes.
• Results: Posted online at www.Runningtime.net after the race.
