Gobble Wobble Half Marathon and 5k

Event Overview

Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon and 5k on Thursday, November 26. The race will take place at Southern WV Community and Technical College in Williamson, West Virginia.

Half Marathon Course

• Starting Point: The half marathon starts from the community college.
• Route: Runs along a neighborhood/school and onto the river path, exiting onto Armory road.
• Major Roads: The course goes out on US 52 and up towards watertower hill.
• Distance: You enter US 119 North for 7.45 miles, then cross traffic and run down US 119 South towards Fairview Addition, finishing back at the community college.

5K Course

• Starting Point: The 5k race starts from the community college.
• Route: Similar to the half marathon, runs along the neighborhood/school and onto the river path, exiting onto Armory road.
• Waterstop: Goes straight towards the waterstop turnaround point.
• Return: Runners come back towards the community college: no return on the river path.

One Mile Walk

• Course Type: A down and back course.
• Distance: Participants go half a mile down and back.
• Starting Point: Starts from the community college.
• Halfway Point: Walk 0.50 miles down and then come back.
