Race Information
- Registration Deadline: Register by October 15th - $30 (Student Registrations - $25)
- Second Deadline: Register by November 1st - $35
- Third Deadline: Register by November 15th - $40
- Race Day Registration: November 22nd - $45
Turkey Trot 5K
- Course: Flat course through a Norwell Neighborhood, this race starts and ends at Norwell High School.
- Support: All proceeds from the race go to Norwell Middle School to help provide grants to teachers, enrichment programs and ancillary student services.
Kids Turkey Chase
- Online Registration: $5
- Day of Registration: $10
- T-shirts: Available for $10 for all Turkey Chasers but must be ordered by Oct. 25th!
- Eligibility: Turkey Chase is for Kids 10 & under (ages will be divided into categories)
Course/Race Route
- Starting Point: Start at NHS
- Route: Right onto South St, left onto Pleasant St, left onto EA Joseph then back to NHS.
Registration
- Online Registration: Open through midnight on Wednesday, November 19th.
Awards
- Top Finishers: Top Male and Female Finishers
- Age Group Awards: Top 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Place Finishers in Age Group Categories
- Spirit Prizes: Awarded for Top 80's Theme Costume and Top Thanksgiving/Turkey Costume
John Hughan Kindness Contest
- Recognition: Volunteers will be looking for ACTS OF KINDNESS to recognize on Race Day.
- Winners: Will receive a custom Kindness Hoodie (Male and Female prizes will be awarded.)
Attire
- Dress Code: 80's Themed Costumes and/or Thanksgiving Turkey Costumes (dress for the cold!)
Team Prizes
- Team Registration: Sign up as a Team - Name your Team to win Turkey socks or gloves for the day of the race!
- Food Pantry Donations: Items requested for the Simple Gesture/Norwell Food Pantry.
- Donation Suggestions: $25 grocery gift cards, Cereal, Peanut Butter, Pasta & Sauce, and more.
Weather
- Race Conditions: The Race is Rain or Shine or Wind or Cold...but hopefully SUN!
Parking
- Location: Parking at Norwell High School in Lot C - or as directed by Race Volunteers.
- Time: The Kids Turkey Chase starts at 9:00am and 5K Turkey Trot and Walk starts at 9:30am!
