Event Overview

Think you can outrun the undead?

Bullhook Community Health Center is bringing a brand-new Halloween tradition to Havre with our 1st Annual Zombie Run! Join us at Deaconess Park for an afternoon of running, zombies, costumes, and Halloween fun for the whole community.

Race Details

• Course Options: Choose between a 5K or 1-mile course, starting and ending at Deaconess Park.
• Runner Experience: Runners will hit the course wearing health flags while zombies lurk in designated zones along the route, ready to steal them.
• Finish Line: Make it to the finish line with at least one flag remaining and you’ll finish as a SURVIVOR. Lose them all? You’ve officially been INFECTED.
• Costumes: Costumes are encouraged, whether you’re running from the zombies or dressing like one yourself!

Registration Information

• Commemorative T-shirt: A commemorative Zombie Run T-shirt comes with paid registration. REGISTER EARLY! RACE T-SHIRTS ARE ONLY INCLUDED WITH REGISTRATIONS RECEIVED BY OCTOBER 12.
• Children's Registration: Children age 6 and under can register for free, with the option to add a race T-shirt during checkout for an additional cost.
• Race-Day Registration: Participants can register through race day. Race-day registration begins at 3:00 PM, with the 5K starting at 3:30 PM and the 1-mile run to follow.
• Tracking Time: This is an untimed fun run, so participants who would like to track their race time should plan to do so themselves.

Community Fun

Not a racer? No problem! The fun at Deaconess Park is for everyone. Join us from 3:00–6:00 PM for food vendors, music, our Hallowmarket, and more Halloween fun. Come cheer on the runners, watch out for wandering zombies, and enjoy a fun pre-Halloween afternoon with the community.

The Zombie Run will take place rain, snow, or shine, so dress for the weather and come ready to run for your life!

All proceeds benefit Bullhook Community Health Center’s Patient Enhancement Programs, helping us provide additional support and resources for our patients.

Will you survive?

Know Before You Run

For a safe and fun experience for runners, zombies, and spectators:

• No Weapons: No weapons, real or fake. Firearms, knives, and other weapon-like props are not permitted.
• No Drugs or Alcohol: No drugs or alcohol prohibited during the event.
• No Pets: No pets on the course. Please leave furry friends safely at home.
• No Physical Contact: Zombies may attempt to take health flags but may not grab, tackle, intentionally block, or otherwise make physical contact with runners.
• Designated Zones: Zombies stay in designated zones. They may briefly chase runners within their assigned area but may not continuously run alongside participants.
• Aware of Course Conditions: Be aware of course conditions. The route may include paved paths, dirt trails, and narrow sections. Please be mindful of your surroundings and follow instructions from course monitors.
• Signed Waiver: A signed waiver is required. All registered participants must complete an electronic waiver before participating.

Refund & Transfer Policy

No refunds after October 23. Registration transfers are permitted through October 23 for a $10 transfer fee.
