WBYAA Turkey Trot

WBYAA’s 3rd Annual 5K Turkey Trot Road Race

Lace up your running shoes and join us for a morning of community spirit, family fun, and support for our youth athletes!

Every step helps fund field maintenance, landscaping, trash removal, and scholarships—keeping our programs and facilities strong for the children who use them.

Event Schedule

• 8:30 a.m. sharp: Timed Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run

• 9:00 a.m. sharp: 5K Road Race

• Approximately 9:45 a.m.: Awards ceremony

Please arrive early so you are ready for your race’s start time. Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian throughout the event.

REGISTER BY OCTOBER 26TH AT MIDNIGHT TO GET A FREE T-SHIRT!

Please register children online in advance so we can prepare enough race bibs with timing chips for the Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run. For the kids’ run, we ask that you bring a nonperishable food donation for our local food pantry.

In-person registration payments must be made by cash or check. Credit cards will not be accepted on race day.

5K Awards

Male and female awards will be presented in the following age groups:

13–15, 16–19, 20–29, 30–39, 40–49, 50–59, 60–69, 70–79, and 80+.

The top three overall 5K finishers will each receive a turkey!

Kids’ 1-Mile Fun Run Awards

The kids’ run will be timed, with awards presented to the top three male and top three female finishers in each age group:

• Ages 4–6

• Ages 7–9

• Ages 10–12

All other participants will receive a finisher’s ribbon.

The top three overall 1-mile finishers will each receive a turkey!

Enjoy face painting, football drills, coffee, hot cocoa, and donuts! Whether you’re running or cheering from the sidelines, join us for a fun morning together.
