WE LET THE DOGS OUT!!

Get Ready to Wag, Walk & Run!

This is more than just a race—it’s a dog-friendly day of fun, fitness, community, and giving back. Every step, every wag, and every happy tail helps raise funds for Tangi Animal Friends (TAF) and the important work they do for pets and the people who love them.

🐕 Run It. Walk It. Wag It!

Whether you're a serious 5K runner, a casual walker, or just looking for a fun day out with your best friend, there's a place for you—and your pup!

Choose the 5K or the 1-Mile Dog Walk & Fun Run, and get ready for a tail-wagging good time. Dogs of all shapes and sizes are welcome to join the fun!

Because let's be honest… this race isn't just about the hoomans. It's about the DOGS! 🐾

❤️ Every Step Supports a Great Cause

Tangi Animal Friends is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to helping pets and pet parents in our community.

TAF partners with local veterinary hospitals, rescues, and animal organizations—including Stafford Veterinary Hospital, Crossroads Cat Clinic, Dog People of Livingston, Saints SPCA, and Purrs of Hope—to help provide affordable spay and neuter services for families in Tangipahoa, Livingston, St. Helena, and Washington Parishes.

Their mission goes far beyond spay and neuter. Tangi Animal Friends also helps provide:

🐾 Low-cost spay & neuter options for families experiencing financial hardship
🐾 Assistance for U.S. Veteran pet parents
🐾 Rabies vaccinations
🐾 Microchipping
🐾 Pet food assistance for families experiencing food insecurity
🐾 Emergency veterinary medical assistance
🐾 Support for keeping beloved pets healthy, safe, and with the families who love them

When you register, you're not just signing up for a race. You're helping Tangi Animal Friends continue saying "YES!" to pets and families who need a little extra help.

🐶 THIS ONE'S FOR THE DOGS!

Let's be clear: the hoomans are welcome, but the dogs are the VIPs. 😉

Bring your best friend, your running buddy, your walking partner, or that four-legged family member who insists on being included in absolutely everything.

Dogs are welcome at the event—but cats are sitting this one out.

TAF absolutely helps cats, especially when it comes to spay and neuter. But have you ever tried to get a cat to walk on a leash?

Yeah. We thought so. 😂

So this is officially a Dog Walk & Fun Run.
No cats allowed. 🐱🚫🐾
