About this race
The Dandy is a Full Marathon (and lesser distances) run largely on dirt roads during High Spring through the world-famous Dandelion Fields of Morgan, Holland, and Derby, Vermont, with musicians sprinkled throughout the course. The marathon and half marathon are some of the toughest, most scenic courses in the East. The 10 k and 4 mile courses offer gentler grades.
This year we are running the Dandy with room for 300 participants. Registration fees include a free lunch with music after the run.
Those who register before January 1, 2027 receive a 50% Early Bird Discount using the Discount Code EARLYBIRD27
Teams of Five or more received a 20% Discount using the Discount Code TEAM27
Those 18 and under can run any distant for a flat fee of $25
The event is held in memory and in honor of Terri Weed, a 15-year-old who was killed on May 21, 1981. 20% of all fees received go directly to Umbrella for its important support and advocacy of women who have been victims of violence.
