💬 About the Race

• Celebration: Join us for our 5th annual Positive Pathways Mental Health Awareness 5k.
• Purpose: Celebrate Mental Health Awareness Month and promote the integration of physical and mental wellness.
• Community: Bring the Morganton community together through this event.
• Route: We will be running the original route this year!

📦 Packet Pickup

• Pre-Race Packet Pickup: May 22, 2026, 5:00 PM - 6:00 PM at Wisdom Path (220 West Union Street, Morganton, NC 28655)
• Race Day Packet Pickup: May 23, 2026, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM in the parking lot near Bouchelle Street behind the Burke County Courthouse.
• Note: Address on the website is the main address of the courthouse: please come to the parking lot behind the courthouse for the event.
• Arrival: Please arrive early to ensure you have enough time for pickup.

🎟️ Exciting Raffle

• Prize: Two day passes ($158 value) for the US National Whitewater Center.
• How to Enter: Every $10 donation gets you a raffle ticket to win the pair!
• Drawing: The raffle will be held during the awards ceremony after the race on May 23.
• Presence: Must be present to win.

• About Us: Wisdom Path offers integrative, holistic counseling services that address the mind, body, and spirit on your path to healing and recovery.
• Proceeds: One hundred percent of the proceeds from the race will go toward the Wisdom Path Scholarship Fund for clients needing assistance with treatment payment.
• Focus: Promote the importance of mental health awareness through active participation.
• Community Impact: Encourage collective participation to enhance mental health awareness.

🏁 Course Description

• Type: This is a 2 loop race course.
• Location: Starts in downtown Morganton and continues through residential neighborhoods, finishing in downtown.
• Timing: The course will be open from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM.
• Map: Please refer to the website for course details.

👕 T-Shirt Information

• Deadline: T-shirt deadline is May 8, 2026.
• Registration: Participants who register May 9 or after can still select a shirt size although it may not be guaranteed.
• Size Selection: Ensure correct size selection during registration.

• Top Finishers: 1st Place Top Male/Female Overall.

• Celebration: Join us to recognize the achievements of participants!
