Race Overview

Event Details

• Activities: ¼ mile kids run, 1 mile fun run/walk, 5k fun run/walk, and new 3.5 mile Trail Run
• New Features: All races start and finish on the Richland Center High School track
• Pledge Sheets: Available to help raise additional funds for GRACE
• Support Options: Encourage friends to support via pledge sheets

3.5 Mile Trail Run

• Course Type: Cross country course with challenging hills
• Features: Well marked, off road course with beautiful views of Richland Center
• Participants: Ideal for those looking for a challenge
• Format: Different than a standard road race

First Responder Challenge

• Competition: Teams of first responders in a fun yet competitive atmosphere
• Divisions: Separate divisions for firefighters, police, and paramedics
• Team Requirements: Minimum of 3 members, must finish together
• Registration Fee: $100 per team, with medals for participants

Team Regulations

• Firefighters: Must wear turnout gear (coat and pants required)
• Police: Must wear uniforms and vests
• Group Requirements: Team members MUST finish together
• Footwear: Good walking/running shoes are highly recommended

Support for Cancer Patients

• Service Area: Includes all of Richland County and surrounding townships
• Fund Allocation: 58% to cancer patients, 25% to research, etc.
• Breakdown: 10% to local medical community, 5% to prevention, 2% to operating costs
• Impact: Financial assistance for those battling cancer

Registration Information

• Inclusions: Swag bag with goodies and a Sport-Tek t-shirt (register by April 23rd)
• Same Day Registration: Available but no guarantee for t-shirt or swag bag
• Packet Pickup: May 8th from 4:00 pm - 6:30 pm or race morning from 6:30 am - 7:30 am
• Parking: Available at the Richland Center High School track
