REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children. The race also features a virtual option. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause. Join us as we celebrate our 5 year anniversary!!

💖 Beneficiary Organizations

• Girls of Excellence: All proceeds benefit both Girls of Excellence (GOE) and Hope Floats Foundation.
• Life-changing Experiences: GOE is engaged in life-changing experiences, field trips, conferences, events, workshops, cultural activities and is embraced by mentors and community partners.
• Swim Scholarships: Hope Floats partners with swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children living in poverty.
• Support for Families: Scholarships and tuition assistance are provided to children who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons.

🏞️ Course Details

COURSE: This USATF-Certified 5K course has many flat sections with a few gentle slopes and serves as a qualifier for AJC Peachtree Road Race. Strollers are permitted on the course. Pets are not allowed on the course. (Cert number GA23014DJ)

⏱️ Time Limit

TIME LIMIT: 5K - 1 hour and 15 minutes. Any participant still on the course after the time limit is reached will be asked to vacate the course.

⏲️ Timing Information

TIMING: The timing device for this event is RFID timing by Performance Race Services. To receive an accurate time, please confirm that your bib is:

• Visible: Clearly visible on the front of the torso
• Unaltered: Unaltered and unmodified (not folded or wrinkled)
• Pinned: Pinned in all four corners
• Uncovered: Uncovered (jackets, fuel belts, etc.)

Results are published live within a few minutes of completion and are chip to chip times for crossing the timing pad.

🖥️ Virtual Option

VIRTUAL OPTION: Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) on your favorite course or treadmill the week of the race. Virtual 5K participants receive a finisher medal by mail prior to race day.

• T-shirt: Short-sleeve T-shirt or tank—T-shirt/tank sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after March 30, 2026.
• Finisher Medal: Every participant receives a finisher medal.
• FREE Photos: Free race photos will be provided.
• In-Person Only: Race bibs and event swag are ONLY available for in-person participants at packet pick-up or on race day.
