REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk

REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children. The race also features a virtual option. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause. Join us as we celebrate our 5 year anniversary!!

• Girls of Excellence (GOE): All proceeds benefit both Girls of Excellence and Hope Floats Foundation.
• Life Enrichment: GOE is a program engaged in life changing experiences, field trips, conferences, events, workshops, cultural activities and are embraced by a comprehensive system of mentors and community partners dedicated to supporting them on their journey.
• Swim Scholarships: Hope Floats partners with high-quality swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children living in poverty.
• Tuition Assistance: Scholarships and tuition assistance is provided to children who might not otherwise be able to afford swim lessons.

Course Details

• Certification: This USATF-Certified 5K course has many flat sections with a few gentle slopes and serves as a qualifier for AJC Peachtree Road Race.
• Strollers and Pets: Strollers are permitted on the course. Pets are not allowed on the course.
• Certification Number: (Cert number GA23014DJ)
• Restrictions: No strollers or pets allowed.

Event Timing

• Time Limit: 5K - 1 hour and 15 minutes. Any participant still on the course after the time limit is reached will be asked to vacate the course.
• RFID Timing: The timing device for this event is RFID timing by Performance Race Services.
• Timing Requirements: Confirm that your bib is clearly visible on the front of the torso, unaltered and unmodified, pinned in all four corners, and uncovered.
• Results: Results are published live within a few minutes of completion and are chip to chip times for crossing the timing pad.

Virtual Option

Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) on your favorite course or treadmill the week of the race. Virtual 5K participants receive a finisher medal by mail prior to race day.

• T-shirt or Tank: Short-sleeve T-shirt or tank—T-shirt/tank sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after March 30, 2026.
• Finisher Medal: Each participant will receive a finisher medal.
• Race Photos: FREE race photos will be provided.
• Participant Requirements: Race bibs and event swag are ONLY available for in-person participants at packet pick-up or on race day.
