Race Overview

REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk is a family-friendly community run/walk for men, women, and children. The race also features a virtual option. Runners, joggers, and walkers enjoy a healthy, fun-filled event while supporting a worthy cause. Join us as we celebrate our 5 year anniversary!!

Beneficiaries

• Proceeds Benefit: Both Girls of Excellence (GOE) and Hope Floats Foundation.
• Girls of Excellence: Engaged in life-changing experiences, field trips, conferences, events, workshops, and cultural activities, supported by mentors and community partners.
• Hope Floats: Partners with swim schools to provide scholarships for swimming lessons for children living in poverty.

REaDy to Run 5K Run/Walk is sponsored by Marietta-Roswell Alumnae Chapter (MRAC) of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated, providing public service programming in Cobb, Cherokee, and North Fulton Counties.

Course Details

• Certification: This USATF-Certified 5K course features flat sections with gentle slopes and serves as a qualifier for AJC Peachtree Road Race.
• Strollers: Permitted on the course: however, pets are not allowed.
• Certification Number: GA23014DJ

Race Logistics

• Time Limit: 5K - 1 hour and 15 minutes: participants must vacate the course after the time limit.
• Timing: RFID timing by Performance Race Services.
• Accuracy: Ensure your bib is clearly visible, unaltered, pinned in all four corners, and uncovered.

Virtual Option

Run or walk a 5K (3.1 miles) on your favorite course or treadmill the week of the race. Virtual 5K participants receive a finisher medal by mail prior to race day.

Awards and Swag

• Awards: Overall (M/F).
• Event Swag: Short-sleeve T-shirt or tank (sizes cannot be guaranteed for registrations after March 30, 2026).
• Additional Items: Finisher medal and FREE race photos.
• Note: Race bibs and event swag are ONLY available for in-person participants at packet pick-up or on race day.

All registrations are final and non-transferable.
