We are excited to announce the 13th Annual 5K run/walk benefiting the Women's Resource Center through the beautiful downtown Natchitoches riverbank area.

🌟 About the Run

• Event Name: The Run, Baby, Run! 5K and Fun Run
• Purpose: An awareness run and a fundraiser for the Women’s Resource Center of Natchitoches.
• Community Impact: The Women’s Resource Center offers resources to local families, including free and confidential pregnancy tests, ultrasounds, prenatal education, emotional support, and material assistance.
• Proceeds: Contributions help cover operational costs for vital services provided to the Natchitoches community and surrounding areas.

🎶 Festival Excitement

• Coinciding Events: The run will take place on the same day as the Natchitoches Jazz Festival.
• Activities: The Historic District will feature the 28th Annual Natchitoches Jazz Fest with lots of fun activities in town.

📅 Event Details

Saturday, May 10th we will be running through downtown Natchitoches starting at the Natchitoches Riverbank!

• Fun Run/Walk Start: The 1-mile fun run/walk begins at 8:00 am.
• 5K Run/Walk Start: The 5k run/walk begins at 8:30 am.

💖 Support for the Community

• Goal: The run/walk aims to increase awareness and raise money for the Women's Resource Center.
• Impact: The WRC serves over 400 lives in the community annually.
• Services Provided: The center is a non-profit pregnancy help medical clinic offering services that are 100% free and confidential.
• Extras: Pre-registration includes a race t-shirt and goodie bag.
