Race Overview
The San Diego 50M is a great introduction into ultra marathons or your first 50M distance, ideal for all running levels.
The San Diego Trail Marathon is a staple in the trail marathon events. Enjoy a fast trail while getting to summit its high point of Raptor Ridge.
Race Events
- Trail Marathon Relay: A new format to our classic Trail Marathon. Run 13.1 before passing off to your teammate to run the last 13.1 miles finishing at our Official Finish Line. *Note there will not be a shuttle. Easy Pick Up Drop Offs available at the Piedras Parking Trail Head Parking Lot.
- Heavy Half Marathon: This beautiful course allows you to explore new trails and accomplish race goals as it gives you just that little more than a half marathon.
- Summit Chase 10M: Conquer and claim the CROWN on the fast out and back course up to the top of Raptor Ridge. The fastest time out and back claims the crown.
- Valley 5M: Our flat 5 plus mile event provides an introduction distance with amazing valley views.
Family-Friendly Events
- Stroller Trail 5K: Our flat 5k (3.1 Mile) event offers a super flat course to enjoy the day with your little ones.
- Elevated Youth 1 Mile: Open to children 10 and younger. This is a non-timed run. All kids receive a finisher’s shirt/medal.

Whether you sprint, run, walk, jog, or hike this event you do not want to miss.
We are a CUPLESS race series. Please make sure to bring some form of hydration vessel to carry hydration for your event. There will not be cups provided at aid stations.
