Santa Fe Striders Running Festival

Race Overview

Be a part of the Santa Fe Striders Running Festival on Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Municipal Recreation Sports Complex. There will be 5K and 10K cross country course and races with distances that vary with age group for younger runners. The 5K & 10K courses are on trail/dirt roads except for .25 miles.

Races for Younger Runners

• Ages: For our younger runners we have several free races based on age.
• Purpose: To get kids moving!
• Distances:
  • 3 – 4 yrs old – 200 meters
  • 5 – 6 yrs old – 400 meters
  • 7 – 8 yrs old – 800 meters
  • 9 – 10 yrs old – 1 mile
  • 11 – 14 yrs old – 2 miles
• Check-in: You MUST check in by 8:45 am to receive your race number.
• SWAG: Free giveaway guaranteed if registered by June 25.

Registration Information

• Online Registration: Closes on July 16 at 11:59 pm.
• Race Day Registration: Opens at 7:00 a.m.
• Fees:
  • $40 before May 31
  • $45 June 1 - July 17
  • $50 on Race Day (cash or card only)
  • Team Registration Fee: $75

5K &: 10K Cross Country Race

• Awards: Cash Prizes to Top Male, Female & Non-Binary Overall.
• Prize Distribution:
  • First Place - $100
  • Second Place - $75
  • Third Place - $50
  • First Male & Female Masters (40+) - $35
• Age Groups: Standard 10 year age groups.
• Important Note: No duplication of awards. Recipients must be present to pick up their awards.
