🎉 SARR Freedom Day Run Overview

Running=Freedom. Come celebrate your freedom with the San Antonio RoadRunners for our traditional 4-Miler on the 4th of July. Wear your best Red, White, and Blue for the Freedom Day 4-Miler, 2-Miler, and Li’l Firecrackers Kids Run.

🏃‍♂️ In-Person Race Details

• Chip-timed: Freedom Day 4-Miler will be chip-timed and awards will be given for overall and 5-year age groups.
• Fun run: 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed.
• Costume Contest: Costume contest after the race. Dress in your best RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!
• Shirt Availability: Shirts in adult and youth sizes available until sold out. We recommend registering by 6/1/25 to guarantee your shirt size.

📦 Packet Pickup

Highly recommended to pick up your packet before race day.

• Pre-Race Pickup: Check back closer to race day for pre-race packet pick up.
• Race Day Pickup: Race Day packet pick up, McAllister Park 6:00AM-7:30AM.

🏅 Awards and Certificates

AWARDS: We will be handing out awards for the 4-Miler only. Overall and age group awards in 5-year increments for the top 3. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

✨ Virtual Race Details

• Location: The Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler and 2-Miler are races that you can run or walk from any location and route.
• Registration: Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the 4-Miler or 2-Miler and submit your results.
• Finisher's Certificate: When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
• Submission Period: Complete your race and submit your results between: July 4, 2026, 12:00am- July 25, 2026, 11:59pm.

• 7:15 AM: 4-Miler Starts
• 7:20 AM: 2-Miler Starts
• 8:15 AM: 4-Miler Awards

💻 Register Early

SARR members receive a 25% discount on the 4-Miler and 2-Miler with online registration through 6/7/26 (automatically applied at checkout). Active-Duty Military get a $5 discount on the 4-Miler through 6/7/26 (no other discounts apply: please show ID at packet pickup). Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the 4-Miler with online registration through 6/7/26 (no other discounts apply).
