🎉 Celebrate Freedom Day

Running=Freedom. Come celebrate your freedom with the San Antonio RoadRunners for our traditional 4-Miler on the 4th of July. Wear your best Red, White, and Blue for the Freedom Day 4-Miler, 2-Miler, and Li’l Firecrackers Kids Run.

🏃‍♂️ In-Person Race Details

Chip-Timed: Freedom Day 4-Miler will be chip-timed and awards will be given for overall and 5-year age groups.
Fun Run: 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed.
Costume Contest: Dress in your best RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!
Shirt Availability: Shirts in adult and youth sizes available until sold out. Register by 6/1/25 to guarantee your shirt size.
Medals: Finisher medals for all participants.
Post-Race Refreshments: Enjoy food and refreshments after the race.

🌐 Virtual Race Details

Runs Anywhere: The Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler and 2-Miler allow you to run or walk from any location and route.
Submit Your Results: Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the 4-Miler or 2-Miler and submit your results.
Finishers Certificate: When you submit your time, you can download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
Time Frame: Complete your race and submit your results between July 4, 2025, 12:00am- July 25, 2025, 11:59pm.
Shirt Options: Mens or womens tech shirt: youth sizes will be limited.
Medal: Finisher medal for virtual participants.
Packet Pickup Info: Packets are not automatically shipped. Pickup at the pre-race pickup for free or add shipping at registration to have your packet mailed.

Pre-Race Pickup: Highly recommended to pick up your packet before race day (details closer to the date).
Race Day Pickup: Comanche Park 2600 Rigsby Ave, San Antonio, TX 78222, 6:00AM-7:30AM (for Live Event participants only).

7:00 AM: Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run
7:15 AM: 4-Miler Starts
7:20 AM: 2-Miler Starts
8:15 AM: 4-Miler Awards

🏆 Awards

Awards will be given for the 4-Miler only. Overall and age group awards in 5-year increments for the top 3. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

Register Early: SARR members receive a 25% discount on the 4-Miler and 2-Miler with online registration thru 6/1/25 (automatically applied at checkout). Active-Duty Military get a $5 discount on the 4-Miler thru 6/1/25 (no other discounts apply: please show ID at packet pickup). Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the 4-Miler with online registration thru 6/1/25 (no other discounts apply).
