SARR Freedom Day Run-4-Miler, 2-Miler & Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run

🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

Running=Freedom. Come celebrate your freedom with the San Antonio RoadRunners for our traditional 4-Miler on the 4th of July. Wear your best Red, White, and Blue for the Freedom Day 4-Miler, 2-Miler, and Li’l Firecrackers Kids Run.

💻 Virtual Participation

We have the virtual option if you cannot attend the live race. You can have your packet shipped (at extra cost) or you can pick up at in-person packet pick up (no extra cost).

🏅 In-Person Race Details

• Chip-Timed: Freedom Day 4-Miler will be chip-timed and awards will be given for overall and 5-year age groups.
• Fun Run: 2-Miler is a fun run/walk and is not chip-timed.
• Costume Contest: Costume contest after the race. Dress in your best RED, WHITE and BLUE!!!
• Shirts: Shirts in adult and youth sizes available until sold out. We recommend registering by 6/1/25 to guarantee your shirt size.
• Finisher Medals: Finisher medals for all.
• Post-Race Food: Post-race food and refreshments.

🌐 Virtual Race Details

• Run Anywhere: The Virtual Freedom Day 4-Miler and 2-Miler are races that you can run or walk from any location and route. You get to run your own race, at your own pace, and time it yourself.
• Easy Signup: Signup, download and print your race bib, complete the 4-Miler or 2-Miler and submit your results.
• Finisher's Certificate: When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.
• Submission Window: Complete your race and submit your results between: July 4, 2025, 12:00am- July 25, 2025, 11:59pm.
• Tech Shirts: Mens or womens tech shirt. Youth sizes will be limited.
• Finisher Medal: Finisher medal.
• Packet Pickup Warning: PACKETS ARE NOT AUTOMATICALLY SHIPPED. PICK UP PACKET AT THE PRE-RACE PACKET PICK UP FOR FREE OR ADD-ON SHIPPING AT REGISTRATION TO HAVE YOUR PACKET MAILED.

📦 Packet Pickup Information

Highly recommended to pick up your packet before race day.

• Pre-Race: Pre-Race day packet pick-up- Thursday July 3rd from 4-7PM REI 11745 I-10 Suite 110, San Antonio, TX 78230.
• Race Day: Race Day packet pick up, McAllister Park 6:00AM-7:30AM (for Live Event participants only).

⏰ Race Start Times

• 7:00 AM: Li'l Firecrackers Kids Run.
• 7:15 AM: 4-Miler Starts.
• 7:20 AM: 2-Miler Starts.
• 8:15 AM: 4-Miler Awards.

🏆 Awards

We will be handing out awards for the 4-Miler only. Overall and age group awards in 5-year increments for the top 3. Must pick up award on race day. Check results before you leave, and have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

Register Early: SARR members receive a 25% discount on the 4-Miler and 2-Miler with online registration thru 6/1/25 (automatically applied at checkout). Active-Duty Military get a $5 discount on the 4-Miler thru 6/1/25 (no other discounts apply: please show ID at packet pickup). Runners age 24 or younger and age 70+ get a 50% discount on the 4-Miler with online registration thru 6/1/25 (no other discounts apply).
