SARR Women's Run

EVENT OVERVIEW

• Organizer: The San Antonio RoadRunners invite women of all ages to join us for our 47th running of the Women's Run.
• Events: Events include a 10K, 5K & Girl's Fun Run!
• Purpose: This empowering event is designed to celebrate the San Antonio sisterhood of women thru fitness & fun.
• Virtual Option: We have a virtual option if you cannot attend the live run. The option to add-on shipping is available at registration.

EVENT LOCATION

• Activities: Event pre and post-race activities will be at Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.
• Alcohol Policy: No alcohol is allowed on their premises.
• Tailgating Policy: No tailgating or ice chests allowed on the church premises.

PRE-RACE PACKET PICKUP

• Check Back: Check back here closer to the race.

RACE DAY PACKET PICKUP

• Date & Time: Race Day July 18th from 6-7:30 AM.
• Location: Alamo Heights United Methodist Church.

RACE START TIMES

• 7:00 AM: Girl Power Run (1/4 mile run).
• 7:15 AM: 10K Start.
• 7:20 AM: 5K Start.
• 7:25 AM: 5K Walk Starts.

5K WALK RULES

• Walking Requirement: All who are registered in this category must WALK only.
• Disqualification: Anyone who is seen running at any time will be disqualified.
• Registration: Register for the 5K if you want to walk and run.

AWARDS

• Pickup: Must pick up award on race day.
• Check Results: Check results before you leave.
• Friend's Help: Have a friend pick up for you if you cannot stay for the ceremony.

ROUTE DETAILS

• 5K Route: Here.
• 10K Route: The 10K will run the 5K route twice.

VIRTUAL 5K/10K DETAILS

• Accessibility: Women's Virtual 5K/10K is a race you can run or walk from any location and route.
• Registration: Simply signup, download and print your digital race bib, complete your 5K or 10K and submit your results.
• Digital Bib: Login to your RunSignup profile, Select > Upcoming Events > View Digital Bib > Share It! > Print, Save, or Screenshot.
• Finisher's Certificate: When you submit your time, you will also be able to download, print and/or share your Finisher's Certificate.

SOCIAL TEAM DISCOUNTS

• Create a Team: Create a social team and get your crew signed up.
• Discount: Your group will receive a discounted race price ($5.00 off regular price) when your team reaches 10 people.
• Update Team: Follow specific steps to update your team/group after you register.

PARTICIPANT BENEFITS

• Finisher's Medal: ALL PARTICIPANTS WILL RECEIVE A FINISHERS MEDAL.
• Shirts: Girl Power Run participants will get the same shirt as the women's but in youth sizing.
• Availability: Shirts available while supplies and sizes are available: registering early is recommended.

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

• Male Volunteer Squad: ALL MALE VOLUNTEER SQUAD NEEDED.
• Sign Up Early: Look for volunteer tab to find a volunteer task: sign up early as spots are taken fast.
