Event Overview
The beautiful fall scenery of the St. Marys River, Memorial Park, and KC Geiger offers an exceptional run/walk route suited for everyone. The SIDS Awareness 5k Run/Walk is an easy 5K path that will provide vital education about SIDS awareness and prevention.

Memorial Purpose
This race is in remembrance of Landen Philpot, who passed away from SIDS at 3 months old.
Scholarship Information
- Profits: All profits from the race support the Landen Philpot Nursing Scholarship.
- Scholarship Amount: There are (2) $1,000 scholarships awarded.
- Eligibility: Scholarships are awarded to area students pursuing a nursing degree focusing on obstetrics or pediatrics.
