Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot Run

Event Overview

Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include:

• Shoes for Kids: provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes.
• KidsRunFree: provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under.
• XC Project: provides timing support for schools during cross country season.

• Date: November 26, 2026
• Free Turkey Dash Kids Run: 8:00 AM (8 and Under)
• 8 Mile Run: 8:15 AM
• 5k Run/Walk: 8:30 AM
• 2 Mile Family Run/Walk: 8:40 AM

Registration Fees

• Members: $20
• Non-Members: $25
• Youth (18 and Under): Free
• Family Pricing: Available for families and extended family in town for the holidays.

Packet Pickup

Packet Pickup will occur on:

• Date: November 25th from 3:30-8:00 PM
• Location: Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon 97540
• Race Day Pickup: Also available from 7-8 AM on the day of the race.
• Registration: No in-person registration will be offered.

Participant Information

• What You Receive: Custom race bib and finishers medal.
• Awards: No age group awards.
• Restrictions: NO DOGS, BIKES, SKATEBOARDS OR SKATES PERMITTED.
• Important Notice: Races are on public roads and trails that ARE NOT closed to cars, pedestrians, or cyclists. Please use caution while on public roadways and paths.
