Southern Oregon Runners Turkey Trot Run

Event Overview

Come to Talent, Oregon for our Thanksgiving run! We will be hosting a food drive for the SOU food bank and a portion of the proceeds will go to SOR Student Runners Programs which include:

• Shoes for Kids: provides shoes to Jr. High and High School athletes who would like to participate in Cross Country and Track but cannot afford proper running shoes.
• KidsRunFree: provides free entry to all SOR races for kids 18 & under.
• XC Project: provides timing support for schools during cross country season.

Date and Time

When - November 27, 2025

• Free Turkey Dash Kids Run (8 and Under): 8:00 AM
• 8 Mile Run: 8:15 AM
• 5k Run/Walk: 8:30 AM
• 2 Mile Family Run/Walk: 8:40 AM

Entry Fees: $15 for members, $20 for non-members. Youth 18 and Under are free. Family Pricing available for this event, this is for families and families with extended family in town for the holidays, only.

Packet Pick Up and Registration

Packet Pick Up and Registration - November 26th from 3:30-8 PM at Legend Cider Co. Talent Taphouse, 245 W Valley View, Talent, Oregon 97540. Packet pick up is also available from 7-8 AM on the day of the race. NO DAY OF REGISTRATION will be offered.

Participant Information

Participants will receive a custom race bib and finishers medal. No age group awards.

Event Rules

• No Dogs: Dogs are not permitted.
• No Bikes: Bikes are not permitted.
• No Skateboards or Skates: These are not permitted.
• Road Safety: Races are on public roads and trails that ARE NOT closed to cars, pedestrians, or cyclists. Please use caution while on public roadways and paths.
