Spring Tonic

Event Overview

Run or walk a Jennings County tradition with a spring in your step! We're teaming up with the Jennings County Historical Society and Friends of Historic Vernon to bring you the Spring Tonic 5K Run & Walk and the Tea Time 1-Miler. Proceeds will go towards improving the Vernon Gym at the Vawter Recreational Center!

Race Details

• Date: 2026-04-25
• Location: 29 Washington St., Vernon, IN
• Start and End: The 5K will start and end at the Vernon Gym
• Nature of the Course: Scenic run through the Town of Vernon and the countryside along the Muscatatuck River

Additional Information

• 1-Miler Course: Takes participants through the Vernon Cemetery
• Restroom Access: Available at the start area
• Free Registration: Participants 5 & under can register for free (must be accompanied by an adult)
• Discounted Registration: Participants ages 6-17 can register for 50% off!
