Event Overview
- Start Time: The event begins at 9:00 a.m.
- Participants: Over 1,000 runners take off in the area’s largest run/walk – the Freedom 5K.
- Performance: The Lima Area Concert Band will perform at 8:00 p.m. in the Rotary Pavilion.
- Fireworks: The areas largest fireworks display will follow around 10:00 p.m.
Race Location
- Starting Point: Race starts in Faurot Park on S Cole St.
- Intersection: Near the intersection of Lakewood Ave.
Registration Cost
- Pricing: Freedom 5K: $20 through June 4th.
- Late Registration: $25 after June 4th.
- T-Shirt: Includes t-shirt if registered by June 15th.
Packet Pick Up
- Registration Time: Race day registration is 7-9 a.m.
- Race Start: The race starts at 9 a.m.
Awards
- Age Groups: Awards will be given for the following age groups: 9 & Under, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80+
