Steamworks Half Marathon

Event Overview

• Date: Saturday, June 6, 2026
• Location: 1600 Florida Rd., Durango, CO
• Distance: 13.1 miles
• Elevation: High-elevation race at 6,500 feet above sea level

Course Details

• Route: Point-to-point along County Road 250, next to the Animas River
• Finish Line: Durango Fitness Club
• Course Certification: Certified by USATF!
• Traffic: Course will NOT be closed to traffic: marked with orange cones

Transportation

• Shuttle Service: Buses will begin shuttling from Durango Fitness Club at 6:30 am
• Drop-Off Options: Participants are encouraged to have friends or family drop them off at the start
• Parking: Available at the finish line: NO parking at the start line
• Early Start: 7:00 am option available for those needing extra time (arrange own transportation)

Packet Pickup

• Date & Time: June 5 from 2:00-6:00 pm at Durango Running Company
• Location: 473 E. College Dr. (next to Homeslice Pizza)
• Race Day Pickup: June 6 from 6:00 am-7:00 am at Durango Fitness Club
• Note: Participants should plan for pickup before the race begins

Aid Stations

• Locations: 6 aid stations approximately every two miles on the course
• Hydration: Aid stations will supply water and Tailwind sports drink
• Snacks: GU and snacks available at the third aid station
• Facilities: Porta-potties will be available at the start, halfway, and finish line

Awards and Post-Race Party

• All Finishers: Receive a custom pint glass
• Overall Winners: Men's and Women's overall winner gets a gift certificate for a free pair of shoes
• Age Group Awards: Winners in various age groups receive Steamworks Gift Certificates
• Party Details: Post-race pool party with lunch and drinks from Steamworks

Registration

• Participant Cap: The race is capped at 250 runners
• Early Registration: Encouraged as the race will likely sell out
• Start Time: Race begins at 7:30 am (new start time for 2025)
