⚠️ Important Notes

• Starting Line: Self-seeded by average expected pace per mile.
• Strollers: Are allowed: please be careful and respectful of the Adaptive Athletes.
• Dogs: Are NOT allowed due to insurance liability and safety issues.

📅 Pre-Race Day Registration

Walk-up registration is available on July 3rd from 4-7 pm at St. Simons United Methodist Church, Thorpe Building, 624 Ocean Blvd, St Simons Island, GA 31522. Your friends or family can pick up your packet but may have to get in multiple lines.

📋 Race Day Details

• No Race Day Registrations: Available.
• Packet Pickup: Race Day packet pickup is available on July 4th, starting at 6 am.
• Race Start Times: 5k starts at 7 am: 1 Mile starts at 8 am.
• Awards Ceremony: Scheduled for 8:30 am.

Start/Finish Location: St Simons Park / Kings Park, 515 Park Ave, St Simons Island, GA 31522.

🚻 Bathrooms

• Location: 2 multi-stall bathrooms across the street in Mallery Park by the ball field.
• Additional Facilities: 8 bathrooms in the Village Pier Casino building.

🍽️ Food and Snacks On-Site Race Day

• Sandy Bottom Bagels: Serving bagels.
• Georgia Watermelon Association: Handing out watermelon.
• Pepsi & Coca Cola: Donating water bottles.
• Winn-Dixie: Providing oranges, bananas, and cookies.

🏁 1 Mile Route

🏆 Awards

Awards cannot be picked up early. The Award Ceremony will take place at approximately 8:30 am. Chip timing is provided by Second Wind Timing.

🚗 Parking

Parking is a challenge, please carpool, be dropped off, ride a bike, or walk! Stay away from private residences.

🎶 Live Music

Throughout the day, live bands entertain on the bandstand in the village area.

🎇 Fireworks

The annual fireworks display is launched from the pier at 9:00 pm. Best viewing areas are Neptune Park and nearby waterfront locations.

The Golden Isles Track Club uses the race proceeds to encourage and promote Good Health in the Golden Isles.
