⚠️ Important Notes

• Starting Line: Self-seeded by average expected pace per mile.
• Strollers: ARE ALLOWED, please be careful and respectful of Adaptive Athletes.
• Dogs: ARE NOT ALLOWED due to insurance liability and safety issues.
• Pre-Race Registration: Walk-up registration on July 3rd is available.

📅 Race Details

• Packet Pickup: Available on July 4th from 6 am until 6:45 am: 1 Mile pickup until 7:45 am.
• Race Start: 5k Race starts at 7 am and 1 Mile Run starts at 8 am.
• Awards Ceremony: 8:30 am.

🚻 Facilities

• Bathrooms: Multiple locations available including Mallery Park and Village Pier Casino.
• Photos: Provided by Sports in Motion Photography, available for free after the event.
• Food & Snacks: Various vendors will provide refreshments on race day.

🏁 5K and 1-Mile Routes

• 5K Route: USTAF Certified 5k route. MapMyRun
• 1 Mile Route: Starts and finishes at the 5K starting line.
• Chip Timed: Both the 5k and 1-mile are chip timed events.

🏆 Awards

• Finisher Medal: All participants will receive a finisher medal.
• 5K Awards: Overall and age group awards: medals and prizes.
• 1 Mile Awards: Medals for top 3 male and female finishers.

🚗 Parking

Parking is limited: please carpool, ride a bike, or walk. Avoid private residences.

🎆 July 4th Activities

• Craft Show: Visit the Sunshine Festival Craft Show at Postell Park from July 4th-6th.
• Golf Cart Parade: Join the parade on July 4th at 11:00 am, decorate your cart!
• Live Music: Throughout the day on July 4th in the village area.
• Fireworks: Enjoy the annual fireworks display at 9:00 pm on July 4th, view from Neptune Park.

🌍 Race Proceeds

The Golden Isles Track Club uses the race proceeds to encourage and promote Good Health in the Golden Isles.
