7th Annual Swamp Classic 5k & 1 Mile Fun Run!

We have teamed up again with Rebuilding Together. Our recipient for the 2026 Swamp Classic 5k will be announced in April.

📝 Registration Details

• Online Registration: You can sign up online at https://runsignup.com/Race/GA/Waycross/SwampClassic5K.
• Deadline: Online registration closes on April 15th.
• Pricing: It's $25 for the 5K and $15 for the 1 Mile Fun Run.
• Event Shirt: Pre-register by April 4th to guarantee your event shirt.

🏁 Race Details

• Start/Finish Location: Both the 5k and the 1 Mile Fun Run will begin and end at Swamp Road Baptist Church (SRBC).
• Parking: There will be plenty of parking at SRBC.
• Course Info: The start/finish line will be well-marked by a giant blue inflatable.
• Water Station: There will be a water station available at the halfway point of the 5k.

🚻 Facilities

• Restrooms: Restrooms will be accessible inside Swamp Road Baptist Church.
• In-Person Registration: Open the morning of the race from 7:00 am - 7:45 am.
• Payment Method: If you register the day of the race, please be aware it is cash ONLY.
• Location: In-person registration and pre-registration pick-up will take place on the left side of Swamp Road Baptist Church (SRBC). Look for the tents & signs.

🏆 Awards Ceremony

• Completion Slip: Each participant will be given a slip of paper when they cross the finish line.
• Results Submission: Participants take the slip to the Timekeeper tent to fill in their name, age, gender, and time.
• Awards: There will be age group awards and an overall male and overall female award.
• Ceremony Timing: Awards ceremony will take place after the 5k.

😷 COVID Precautions

• Mask Policy: Wear a mask if you desire.
• Social Distancing: Practice social distancing at the registration area and after the race.
• Start Times: We will not utilize staggered start times.
• Liability: SRBC is not held responsible if you contract COVID-19 before, during, or after the 5k or 1 Mile Fun Run.
