🏃‍♂️ The 46th Annual Teton Mountaineering Cache Creek to Game Creek Trail Run

Saturday JULY 25, 2026 8AM MASS START. HIKERS 7:30am start. (and slower joggers- a 7:30 Slow pace start will be allowed for a few participants who anticipate being slower than the typical running group) All other participants must start at 8AM. Everything HAPPENS on Saturday July 25th whether running or Hiking! Virtual runners can run the course any time all summer long! THIS IS THE BEST TRAIL RUNNING RACE in JACKSON, WYOMING! Virtual runners, send us PROOF of your course time and see if you beat anyone on July 25 in your age group and you will get an additional medal.

📍 Race Location

Cache Creek to Game Creek Trail is an epic trail run with a 45 year old history! The Start is below Snow King's upper parking lot. Park in the upper parking lot behind SNOW KING and walk down to the start. Join us at the dead-end portion of Cache Creek Dr. (no parking at the start). The race heads out Cache Creek Dr. to Cache Creek and up to the Game Creek bridge. There will be a right hand turn across the bridge to the pass and down to Game Creek. Limited parking at the finish. We encourage locals to carpool pick ups. There will be a shuttle van or timing truck taking runners back to parked cars at the upper lot of Snow King if you don't have a way back to town.

🏆 Awards

• Top trophies: Top three Overall males and females.
• Age Division Medals: 14 & under, 15 to 19, 20 to 29, 30 to 39, 40 to 49, 50 to 59, 60 to 69, 70-79, 80 plus.
• Special awards: To the Oldest finisher and Youngest finisher.
• All runners: Will receive a race FINISHER VISOR and a CUSTOM FINISHER MEDAL.

🎽 Bib and Packet Pick-Up

Friday, July 24 from 3pm to 6pm. Pre Race Pick up is in the TETON MOUNTAINEERING STORE on 170 N Cache, Jackson, WY 83001. Not mandatory. You can also PICK BIB up at the Starting line on race morning beginning at 7am.

🚰 Aid Stations

• Water stations: 2 water stations are provided along the course.
• Self-sufficiency: Racers are encouraged not to depend solely on these stations for water needs.
• Backcountry Etiquette: Runners must carry out all trash, ensuring future access to the trails.
• Restrooms: One porta potty will be at the start and one at the finish at Game Creek.

🏕️ Accommodations

The Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce can help answer questions regarding lodging and the wide variety of recreational opportunities that Jackson Hole, Grand Teton National Park, and nearby Yellowstone National Park have to offer. (307) 733-3316 Monday – Friday, 8 am – 5 pm MST. Plan ahead. This is a heightened and busy time of the tourist season. But it is also the best time to run through this area. The wildflowers are awesome!

Because of the need to preserve these lands, there is a limit to the number of entries available. Register early and in advance to guarantee your running spot.
