🏃♂️ The Melt Down Overview
Three 5K's + One Day = The Melt Down! This challenging event is in its 11th year.
🕗 Race Schedule
- Time: Races at 8:00 a.m., 9:00 a.m., and 10:00 a.m.
- Participation: Do one, two, or all three races! You can decide that day!
- Order: Races must be done in order (no fresh runners in race #2 or race #3).
- Single Race: If participants are just doing one race, it has to be the 8:00 a.m. race.
🌳 Course Details
- Finish Time: Races must be finished in 1 hour to allow for the start of the next race.
- Scenery: Course is on a beautiful wide, smooth, paved trail through two parks and crosses a historical bridge!
- Facilities: Indoor restrooms and a fun, free splash pad and playground for the kiddos located right next to the start/finish.
🏅 Awards and Prizes
- Medals: Everyone who finishes the first race receives a custom MELT DOWN medal.
- Shirts: Fun HOT, summer themed t-shirts!
- Awards: Top three male/female and top 3 in age groups in the FIRST race only.
- Combined Times: Award for the top male and female best COMBINED times of all three races.
