Event Overview
Think “November” and visions of roast turkey undoubtedly come to mind. Epic Races invites you to envision — and experience — a totally different take on that famous fall bird with The Original Kroger A2 Turkey Trot. Join us at Hudson Mills Metropark for this annual autumn tradition and enjoy a late-season run that is fun for the whole family!
Race Options
- Distances: The Original Kroger A2 Turkey Trot features three different distances to whet your racing appetite: a 5K loop around scenic Hudson Mills, a 10K course comprised of two 5K loops, and a mile fun run for those who want just a taste of our Turkey Trot.
- Iron Turkey: For those who prefer a more sizable portion, there’s our Iron Turkey option: run both the 5K and 10K, a total of 9.3 miles!
- Walker-Friendly: If your feet love gobbling up the miles, then our Iron Turkey challenge is ideal for you! Don’t forget: the A2 Turkey Trot is walker-friendly!
- Free for Kids: But wait.. there's more! All kids 10 and under race FREE!

Course Information
Please note that in the interest of safety, all courses are subject to change at any time at the discretion of the race director.

Directions
- Location: Hudson Mills Metropark is located at 8801 N. Territorial Road, Dexter, MI 48130.
- Park Fee: If you don't have an annual pass, the park fee is $10. To help the flow of traffic, please have your pass or a $10 bill ready!
- Park Entry: Enter the park from North Territorial Road and follow signs to The Activity Center.
- Parking: You will be directed to parking.
Post-Race Party
Stick around post race for food and festivities! Our Epic staff and volunteers will be cooking up pancakes, breakfast burritos, and more for race participants.
