🏔️ Race Update

• Additional Spots: We’ve just opened 25 additional spots!
• Entry Notice: Entries received from this point forward may not be guaranteed an individual honoree plaque along the Memorial Mile.
• Communal Sign: A large communal chalkboard sign will be available for everyone to write messages and names in honor of loved ones.

🏃‍♂️ Event Overview

• Unique Experience: Top of Tamarack is where mental health meets mental strength, all for a good cause!
• Activities: Participants run, hike, or bike up the mountain and soak up the epic views of Valley County!
• Distance Options: You can choose to tackle any distance along the service road leading up to the summit, with a maximum distance of 15 miles round trip.
• Elevation Gain: There is a full 2,900 foot elevation climb to the Top of Tamarack.

🏅 Race Details

• No DNF: There is no DNF (did not finish) in this race.
• Tokens: Each mile post along your journey will be marked with a special token, reminding you that you have achieved a great distance and you are “mentally strong.”
• Crowning: The first male and female to reach the top (for both biking and running) will be crowned King and Queen of the Mountain!

❤️ Mental Health Awareness

• Purpose: Top of Tamarack is a mental health awareness and suicide prevention event.
• Celebration: It celebrates those who are battling mental health challenges on their way to mental health recovery and who are still here with us today.
• Honoring Lives: It is a race that honors those who have lost their lives to suicide, bringing together athletes of all levels.
• Beneficiary: Race proceeds will benefit Gr8ter, Inc., a local non-profit organization that helps people struggling with mental health issues find hope and happiness.

• Registration Deadline: You must register by September 10th to be guaranteed race swag.
• Location: The event takes place at 311 Village Drive, Tamarack, ID.
