🏃‍♂️ Race Overview

A family tradition that helps folks in need.

The scenic race course loops Hinckley Lake within the Hinckley Reservation.

🚧 Important Start/Finish and Parking Changes

Because of park construction, we're moving the Start/Finish area to the South Ball Field parking lot. We will run the course on the paved path around the lake as usual (CCW). Parking will be limited so we're capping registration at 800 at this point and giving discount tickets for next year's race for people that park at the most distant lots.

• Carpooling: We highly encourage carpooling and arriving early.
• Parking Instructions: We'll provide detailed parking instructions as we get closer.
• Costumes: In addition to views of the local flora and fauna, you might see participants in their best Thanksgiving-themed costumes. (Turkey and cranberry suits are welcome!)

📦 Packet Pickup Information

Early packet pick up will be 11/27 from 3P-6P at 2425 Medina Rd, Medina. Please do your best to pick everything on 11/27 to avoid delays on race day. You are encouraged to pick-up for friends and family.

• Participant Gifts: All participants will receive a custom long-sleeved shirt and medal.
• Fundraising Opportunity: If you raise $100, we'll refund your entry fee.
• Top Fundraisers: The top 20 fundraisers will also receive a $140 gift certificate from Fleet Feet in addition to the refund.

🕖 Race Day Details

Race day registration opens at 7:30 am. Turkey Burner 5k Race and Walk takes off at 9:00 am.

We'll be giving out awards to our age group winners (<10, 10-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+).

❤️ Charitable Cause

In addition to pre-burning Thanksgiving calories, the Burner benefits Running2bwell and its free wellness programs for people struggling with addiction and mental health issues.
