Turkey Trot for a Cure 5K Walk/Run for Alzheimer's

Event Overview

November is National Alzheimer's Disease Awareness month, and for the past 15 years, we have kicked it off with a 5K Walk/Run to raise awareness and support for Alzheimer's in our community.

This year, join us for the 16th annual Turkey Trot 5K Walk/Run!

Date and Location

When: Saturday, November 7, 2026

Where: Morehead Conference Center

Race Time: 9:00 AM (New Start Time in 2026!)

Event Activities

• Silent Auction: Participate in our fundraising efforts.
• Health Fair: Learn about health and wellness.
• Refreshments: Enjoy snacks and drinks.
• Education: Gain insights on Alzheimer's Disease.

Cause and Impact

This special event raises awareness for Alzheimer’s disease, with all proceeds benefiting the Sisters of Notre Dame Eastern Kentucky Foundation Alzheimer’s and Dementia Caregiver Fund. Every dollar stays right here in our service region to support local families and caregivers.
