Join us for the 9th Annual Unity Wellness Center World AIDS Day Run/Walk!

Registration Details

• 5K Entry Fee: $5
• 1 Mile Entry Fee: $5
• Shirt Option: Add a cool shirt for $20
• Virtual Participation: $5 for 5K or 1 mile + $20 for shirt

Awards and Activities

• Age Group Awards: Given to the top three overall male/female runners and the top male/female in each age group (18 & under, 18-30, 31-40, 41-50, 51-60, 61+)
• Raffle and Refreshments: Join us after the run for family-friendly fun!
• Start Times: 1 Mile walk at 8:00am (not timed), 5K run (or walk) at 8:30am (timed)
• Rain Policy: The race will take place in the rain: however, it will be canceled in the event of thunderstorms. No refunds.

About World AIDS Day

World AIDS Day is an opportunity for people worldwide to unite in the fight against HIV, to show support for people living with HIV, and to commemorate those who have died from an AIDS-related illness. Founded in 1988, World AIDS Day was the first ever global health day.

Unity Wellness Center Services

Unity Wellness Center provides HIV testing & counseling, HIV primary medical care, medical case management services, and HIV prevention education and awareness programs.

Registration Deadlines

• Tee Shirt Guarantee: Register by October 31st.
• Online Registration: Closes at 11:59PM CST on Wednesday, November 11th.
• Offline Registration: Possible on Friday, 11/13 from 4-7pm at Whistle Stop Bottle and Brew in Opelika or race day starting at 7am.
• Offline Fee: $25 - cash or check only.

Additional Information

• Pets: Bring your kids and dogs! Keep all pups on leashes, though.
• Facilities: Bathrooms located close to start/finish area.
