Back for its fifth year, Wabash Run The River is a chip-timed race that starts in the heart of Wabash County and runs along the Wabash River! From competitive athletes to leisure runners, this event appeals to everyone! Choose run or walk options from a 13.1 half marathon, 10k, or 5k that will take you along the scenic WABASH RIVER TRAIL located along the Wabash River. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top male and female half-marathon, 10K, and 5K finishers.

FRIDAY:

• Evening: Runner check-in/packet pick-up at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground
• 5 PM - 8 PM: Wabash First Friday family-friendly street festival

SATURDAY:

• Morning: Runner check-in/packet pick-up & day of registration at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground
• 8:30 AM: Half marathon start
• 8:45 AM: MyTeam Triumph start
• 9 AM: 10K/5K start
• 11 AM: Awards
• 12 PM: Course closes

🏅 Additional Race Information

• Finisher Medal: Every participant will receive a Finisher Medal!
• Youth Pricing: 17 and younger are $25 🤹‍♂️ (they are ineligible for prize money)
• Stroller: Kiddos in strollers are free 👶🏻

📝 Race Day Essentials

• Chip Timer: Crossroads Event and Timing ⏱️
• Start/Finish Line: Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground 🚧
• Terrain: Race will be on mostly paved trail with a small section of the half on crushed gravel.
• Parking: There are several parking lots available. Look for "EVENT PARKING" signs.

🚻 Amenities and Considerations

• Bathrooms: Several portable restrooms available at Friendship Hill Inclusive Playground and at each water station along the course.
• Weather: The event takes place RAIN OR SHINE. Monitoring by Wabash County Emergency Management.
• Results: Results will be updated online and can be checked on RUNSIGNUP.
• Awards: Awards ceremony at 11 AM. Cash prizes for top finishers.

🔄 Water Stations

There will be 4 water stations along the trail at 1 mile, 2 miles, 4 miles, and 6 miles. Water and Gatorade will be available, as well as bananas at the finish line.
