Western Springs Tower Trot

🏃‍♂️ RACE INFORMATION

• Run for the fun: Your health (exercise), Healing Hearts for Ashley Foundation (fundraising) and maybe your wallet (awards).
• Registration includes: t-shirt, refreshments and entertainment.
• Open to all ages: This 5K, 10K, Double, and Fun Run will use CARA age categories for awards.

❤️ BENEFITING CHARITY

• Partnership: The Western Springs Tower Trot will be partnering again with the Healing Hearts for Ashley Foundation.
• In memory of Ashley: Ashley Jurjovec, a former Western Springs middle school teacher, passed away suddenly from ARVC.
• Foundation's mission: Committed to raising awareness for ARVC and support research for families at risk.
• Charity note: No portion of the race entry fee is directed to the charity.

• Date: Saturday, May 24, 2025
• Time: 8:30 a.m.—10K (6.2 miles) and The Double Run (10K and 5K)
• Fun Run start: 8:45 a.m. (<: a mile)
• 5K start: 9:30 a.m. (3.1 miles)

Start/Finish: Grand Avenue Community Center | 4211 Grand Ave, Western Springs
Fun Run Start is at Chestnut and Grand, Fun Run Finish is at the official Finish Line on Lawn

🥤 Post Race

• Refreshments: Water, Gatorade, and refreshments will be provided for all runners.
• Raffle winners: The Hearts for Ashley Foundation will present winners of the raffle.
• Timely results: This race is timed and scored by J3 Timing.

🎉 The Double

• Double your fun: Run Both!
• 10K start: The 10k starts on Grand Ave and finishes on Lawn Ave.
• 5K start: If the 5k has already started, ensure your chip crosses the timing pad as you run South to start.
• Shirt detail: Double runners receive a long sleeve shirt in lieu of short sleeve.

📝 REGISTRATION

• Online registration: Available until 15 minutes prior to Start time.
• Price increase: Race prices increase $5 on Monday, May 12, 2025.
• Race Packet Pickup: Registration will be available during Race Packet Pickup.

🎽 RACE PACKET

• Prior to race day: Numbers, t-shirts, and information can be picked up at the Grand Avenue Community Center, 4211 Grand Avenue, Western Springs, IL.
• Pickup hours: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM | Friday, May 23, 2025
• Race day: Packets will only be available at Grand Avenue Community Center. Doors open at 7:00 AM.

💰 CATEGORIES AND ENTRY FEES

• 5K Walk: $35 Resident/$40 Non-Resident
• 5K Run: $35 Resident/$40 Non-Resident
• 10K: $40 Resident/$45 Non-Resident
• The Double (5K &: 10K): $45 Resident/$45 Non-Resident

14 and under for all races - $25 Resident/$30 Non-Resident
Fun Run - $15 Resident/$15 Non-Resident

🔔 Registration after May 11, 2025

• Late fee: Add $5 to the fees above
