Wildflower Trails 5k

🌼 Race Overview

• Event: Run through the wildflowers on our beautiful 5k course to kick off the Wildflower Trails festival in downtown Linden, TX.
• Additional Activities: Come for the race and stay for the vendors, live music, car show, quilt show, wild west shoot out at DD's Saloon, and much more!!!

📍 Location and Timing

• Start Time: Race will begin at 8:00am in front of the LINDEN MASONIC LODGE.
• Finish Line: The race will end at the Masonic Lodge.
• Facilities: We will have OUR OWN BATHROOMS and a place for your spectators to hang out during the race!

💰 Entry Fee

• Cost: Entry fee is $25.00 before race day and $30.00 the day of the race.
• Registration Period: Online registration is open from Feb 1st to 8am on Friday, Apr 17th.
• Check-In: Race day check in and late registration will begin at 7:00AM-7:45AM on the day of the race.

🏆 Awards

• Top Finishers: $100 will be awarded to the top male and female finishers.
• Overall Ranks: 1st-3rd overall male and female finishers will receive awards as well.
• Age Group: Awards will be given for 1st-3rd place in 10 year age groups.

🎽 Swag

• DRI FIT Shirt: Each participant registering by April 17th will be guaranteed a DRI FIT running shirt - gender specific sizing available!
• Shirt Availability: You will not be guaranteed a shirt if you register after April 17th!
• Pancakes: All participants will also receive FREE pancakes before or after the race by our local Masonic Lodge.

🎓 Fundraising Goals

• Cause: The money raised from this race will be donated to students from Linden-Kildare high school for the Fred Wilbanks 5k scholarship.
