🏃‍♂️ Williston Marathon Overview

• Event: The Williston Marathon is a premiere endurance event in Williston, North Dakota.
• Location: This course is held at the Williston Basin International Airport.
• Experience: Runners will get the unique experience of running on the runway of the airport!
• Beneficiary: All proceeds go directly to Upper Missouri Relay For Life in Williston, ND.

💖 Community Impact

• Fundraising: The Upper Missouri Relay For Life is a fundraising event put on through American Cancer Society.
• Support: Funds raised are used towards patient care and travel expenses for cancer patients.
• Local Impact: This supports other needs for patients at our local cancer treatment center in Williston.
• Healthy Living: The marathon promotes healthy living, which can help prevent cancer.

🎽 Race Details

• Finisher Medals: All runners registered by April 15th will receive a 2025 finisher medal.

• Start Location: All events will start and finish at the Overland Aviation building.
• Important Note: Please do not block driveways, intersections, or entrances to oil pumper sites.

⏰ Event Schedule

• Marathon: Shotgun kick off at 6:30am
• Half Marathon: Shotgun kick off at 7:00am
• 10K: Shotgun kick off at 8:00am
• 5K: Shotgun kick off at 8:15am

🚫 Event Restrictions

• Strollers: Not allowed for the 10K, Half Marathon, and Marathon races.
• Animals: No animals allowed unless they are service animals.
• Event Closing: Williston Marathon event closes at 2pm.
• Registration Awareness: Please be aware when registering for your event of choice.

📍 Additional Info

• Routes: The routes will be thoroughly marked by signage and volunteer direction.
• Water Stations: There are 6 water stations along the marathon/half marathon route.
• Restrooms: Available at the start line and on the route at the cell phone lot at mile 11.
