WHY RUN THE HISTORIC RACE?
- Best Half Marathon: Voted 2024 Best Half Marathon in NC by Race Raves!
- Multiple Races: Choose from Half Marathon, 10K, 5K, or the Challenge (5K followed by Half Marathon). This is the only race in Wilmington to offer this.
- Amazing Views: All courses take runners through breathtaking views on a closed course in historic downtown Wilmington.
- Scenic Route: Run over 3 downtown bridges and over 1 mile along the nation’s top-rated riverwalk (Half Marathon & 10K only).
- Finish Line Party: Enjoy a celebratory party in Riverfront Park featuring music, free beer from Wrightsville Beach Brewery and Oden Brewing Company, along with food!

WHAT TIME DOES IT ALL START?
- 5K: 7:00 AM
- 10K: 7:30 AM
- Half Marathon: 7:45 AM
TAKE ON THE HISTORIC CHALLENGE
- Challenge: Run both the 5K & Half Marathon for a total of 16.2 miles and earn all the swag!
- Registration Includes: Race bib, Half Marathon finisher medal, long sleeve shirt, 5K finisher medal, and a bonus gift!
- Special Note: Challenge runners must complete the 5K under 45 minutes to be at the Half Marathon start line by 7:45 AM. No late starts are permitted.
ARE THERE AWARDS?
- Finisher Medal: Every participant will earn a finisher medal!
- Awards Tent: Stop by to pick up your award - no ceremony will take place due to different start times.
- No Mail Awards: Awards cannot be mailed. Age group brackets available on the FAQ page.
