HELPING HANDS SOCIETY

• Mission: A non-profit organization for special needs and typical children in Luzerne, Carbon, and Schuylkill Counties.
• Support: Helps children from birth to elementary age with developmental delays and learning disabilities.
• Inclusivity: Welcomes all children and families needing assistance with developmental therapies.
• Community Role: Relies on public generosity to support children's success in and out of the classroom.

WHAT IS A “TROT ‘N BREW”?

• Distance: A 1.5 mile novelty race through the streets of Conyngham, PA.
• Format: Competitors must run, walk, or crawl to designated establishments along the race course.
• Purchase: Participants buy a 25 cent draft beer at each stop and continue to the finish line.
• Eligibility: All competitors must be 21 or over, wear shirts, and carry quarters for refreshments.

• Substitution: YES! You can substitute soft drinks.
