July 4th is celebrated in a number of different ways, with parades, barbecues, sparklers, and fireworks, BUT there has been no better way since 2008, to get your July 4th morning off to a great start, than doing Boulder’s traditional 4K on the Fourth, which is run on a flat and fast course, followed by Avery Brewing Company beer, and breakfast burritos!

• Significance: July 4th marks Independence Day, a National holiday celebrating the approval of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 by the Continental Congress

• Baby strollers: ARE allowed
• No Dogs: Dogs are not permitted in the race
