Registration Information
- Online Registration: Closes Friday, September 25 at midnight.
- In-Person Registration: Available at Osage Centre on Saturday from 3 PM to 6 PM and Sunday from 5:30 AM to 6:30 AM.
- Shirt Guarantee: Register by August 31 for Half Marathon UVB Long Sleeve shirt: 5K shirt guarantee by September 13.
- Race Day Registration: Available during packet pickup Saturday & Sunday.
Race Schedule
- Packet Pickup: Saturday, September 26 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM.
- Sunday Packet Pickup: 5:30 AM - 6:30 AM.
- Race Start Times: 6:30 AM for walkers & non-competitive runners: 7:00 AM for 5K: 7:10 AM for Half Marathon.
- Awards Ceremony: 7:45 AM for 5K: 9:40 AM for Half Marathon.
Race Courses
- Half Marathon: A scenic route through residential Cape Girardeau and surrounding countryside.
- Course Support: Well-supported with volunteers, water stops every 2 miles in the beginning and then every mile from mile 8 onward.
- Post-Race Amenities: Food, water, Gatorade, locally brewed beer, pancakes, coffee, and traditional snacks.
- 5K Course: Flat, fast USATF Certified course on a paved trail.
Awards
- Half Marathon Awards: Overall Male, Overall Female, Overall Masters Male & Female, and 5-year age divisions (0-19 to 70+).
- 5K Awards: Overall Male, Overall Female, and 5-year age divisions (0-19 to 70+).
- Prizes: $300 for Overall Male & Female and $200 for Overall Masters Male & Female.
- Relay Option: Form a team of 3 for a fun relay experience.
Additional Information
- Virtual Option: Participate by running between September 1 and September 30, 2026.
- Water Stops: Manned with supportive volunteers.
- Finisher Medals: Available for all participants.
- Early Start: Available for those who may take longer than 3 hours to complete the course.
